I hope that everyone had a wonderful 4th of July and celebrated it with enthusiasm and respect. I feel very fortunate to live in this country and I know that the freedom that I enjoy every day comes at a price. Thank you to all men and women serving our country, past and present.I celebrated by attending a gathering at DF Heather's with DF Andy and several others. The food was good, the company was good and the weather was fantastic. Heather's deck offered a breezy view of the fireworks from several sights - the closest being at Centennial Olympic Park. The evening could not have been better.
There was even progress on my ornament. I have 20 days to complete this ornament and stitch my surprise ornament. I think that I can make it but I've had to put some strict rules in place.
- If I'm at home, I must stitch on ornaments
- No knitting at home - this includes fondling yarn, daydreaming about patterns, looking through knitting books, etc
- I must stitch on an ornament every day - even if it's only 1 or 2 stitches

Woo Hoo!!!! Glad you had a great Fourth. Looking forward to seeing your completed ornies in person!! :) I know they'll be beautiful.
